Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has launched a new line-up of processors and graphics card. The AMD Ryzen and Athlon 7020 C-Series processors and AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card are built on 6nm technology.
The AMD Ryzen and Athlon 7020 C-Series processors use AMD’s Zen 2 architecture and RDNA 2 integrated graphics to deliver fast and responsive performance ideal for modern productivity and multitasking workloads. For high-performance gaming, streaming, and content creation, the new Radeon RX 7600 graphics card uses AMD RDNA 3 architecture to provide 60+ FPS at 1080p and streams in high fidelity with AV1 technology.
The technology also accelerates AI and content creation application performance over previous generations with features like ultra-HD encoding, AMD Radiance Display Engine, and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology.
AMD has a strong product portfolio in the Data Center, Client, Gaming, and Embedded Segments, with the RDNA processor architecture improving performance, scalability, and efficiency of various AMD processors and graphics cards. This has led to strong demand for EPYC, Radeon and Ryzen processors in various end-markets.
However, AMD faces stiff competition in the CPU, GPU, and Embedded segments from enterprises such as Intel Corporation, NVIDIA and Microchip Technology, affecting AMD’s product demand and growth prospects.
The recent launch is expected to aid AMD’s current robust performance and strengthen its position in the market further.
