The American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) has announced the keynote speaker lineup for its 2023 Lifestyle Medicine Annual Conference, which will be held in Denver, CO, from October 29 to November 1. The hybrid event will explore the practical ways lifestyle medicine is transforming medical education and clinical practice in treating chronic diseases. Lore Health, an ACO promoting healthy lifestyles, is the presenting sponsor for the event.
LM2023 Annual Conference serves as the annual conference for primary care and specialist doctors, physicians’ assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, social workers, speech audiologists, psychologists, health coaches, healthcare executives, students, and medical residents, who are interested in lifestyle medicine and/or planning to establish or expand lifestyle medicine practices.
The conference’s keynote speakers include Dean Ornish, James Gordon, Christina Economos, Anna Lembke, Walter Willett, Frank Hu, Neha Pathak, Beth Frates, Jessica Matthews, Ruth Wolever, Mark Faries, Joe Kvedar, Michael Greger, Cedric Bryant, Dan Bornstein, Col. The in-person event will offer concurrent sessions in four tracks: Allied Health Professionals; the Business of Lifestyle Medicine; the Science of Lifestyle Medicine; and the “How” of Lifestyle Medicine. The event will also feature exhibitors, the annual Lifestyle Medicine Awards Celebration, and networking opportunities with medical professionals and industry leaders.
The conference will provide lifestyle medicine-related content/sessions, which can be credited for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™️. Attendees will have 60 days post conference to claim CME. In-person workshops will provide hands-on training on implementing lifestyle medicine services in practice, including shared medical appointments, team-based care, and health equity programs that reach vulnerable populations.
According to ACLM President Beth Frates, this annual conference is ideal for physicians and clinicians “desiring health restoration as their clinical outcome goal and therefore a return to true healing” as the event covers all six pillars of lifestyle medicine using the latest evidence-based science.
The conference offers a unique opportunity for professionals interested in lifestyle medicine to learn from thought leaders and network with colleagues from across the country and around the world.

The American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM) certification exam, traditionally offered at the end of the annual conference, will be held on a day of the participant’s choosing between November 25 and December 10, 2021, at Prometric testing centers across the U.S. Registration for the exam will close at 6 p.m. PST on September 30, 2023.
