Entrepreneur and innovator, Louis Foreman, will be recognized at the 13th Annual Carolinas Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. Foreman will join fellow inductees Jennifer Appleby, the executive chair of Wray Ward, and Betsy Hauser, the founder and CEO of Tech Talent & Strategy, who will receive the 2023 Innovator of Distinction award.
“I am honored and humbled to be inducted into the Carolinas Entrepreneur Hall of Fame,” said Foreman. “Success is a team effort, and I am thankful for the incredible partners and associates who have accompanied me on this remarkable journey.”
Over the past thirty years, Foreman has founded twelve successful startups and played a vital role in establishing over twenty others. He is the inventor of ten registered US patents, with his company responsible for the development, filing, and monetization of hundreds more.
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Foreman is a champion for small businesses and innovation. He served as an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Queens University, where he was also the Entrepreneur in Residence at the McColl School of Business. Currently, he teaches at Wake Forest University.
Foreman is a highly sought-after speaker, sharing his expertise on small business creation and innovation at events such as the United States Patent and Trademark Office and national trade associations. He is also the creator of the Emmy® Award Winning PBS TV Show, “Everyday Edisons,” where he served as the Executive Producer and lead judge.
Foreman’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property rights has made a lasting impact on the Carolinas and the broader entrepreneurial landscape. His induction into the Carolinas Entrepreneur Hall of Fame is a testament to his remarkable contributions and unwavering dedication to fostering innovation and small business success.
