On Tuesday, July WTI crude oil (CLN23 ) saw a gain of +0.86 (+1.19%), and July RBOB gasoline (RBN23 ) rose by +2.11 (+0.83%). Both crude oil and gasoline prices settled higher on Tuesday, as crude prices hit a 1-1/2 week high, and gasoline prices reached a 5-week high. This was caused by a statement from Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister, which led to a surge in crude prices.
