On Friday, the July West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil (CLN23) increased by 1.17%, while July Reformulated Blendstock for Oxygenate Blending (RBOB) gasoline (RBN23) rose by 1.52%. This followed a relatively moderate increase in crude oil and gasoline prices. The progress in negotiations to increase the debt ceiling by U.S. lawmakers also surged stocks rally, contributing to the rise in prices.
