The July WTI crude oil (CLN23) closed up by 2.34% or 1.64 points, while July RBOB gasoline (RBN23) closed up by 2.65% or 6.45 points. In hopes of increased Chinese energy demand, crude oil and gasoline prices closed moderately higher on Friday. The Chinese government is working on developing a plan to boost their energy reserves, as Bloomberg reported, which led to the rise of crude prices.
