Starting his career as an engineering intern with Oilfield Data Services, Inc. in 2007, he later became a petroleum engineer and account representative. Later in 2010, he started working as a cement lab technician for Kelly Scientific Resources and as a sales engineer for Metrolog the same year. He also functioned as a sales engineer for Sercel-GRC and as a technical sales engineer for IHS in 2013.
