The leading property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager and retirement plan advisor NFP has appointed Josh Jeter as the senior vice president and Aviation Specialty Practice leader. Jeter will head the aviation industry group where he will advise clients on their aerospace and aviation risks and suggest risk mitigation strategies to counteract financial and reputational risks. He will report to Matthew Schott, the managing director for Management, Cyber and Professional Liability division, at NFP.
According to Schott, “Given the current challenges in the aviation market, it is more important than ever to ensure our clients have access to the expertise required to navigate the myriad exposures they face. Josh’s energized approach to serving clients and his understanding of various elements of the aviation market, including insurance carriers and brokerage, make him a great fit to lead our Aviation practice.”
Prior to this appointment, Jeter was the area vice president at Gallagher’s Aerospace Practice. He has also served as an aviation underwriter specialist at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and as assistant manager of Aviation & Reinsurance at Ironshore Insurance Services. Jeter has more than 16 years of aircraft maintenance experience and currently serves as a part-time member of the Air National Guard. He is also enrolled in the Air and Space Law graduate certificate program at the University of Mississippi’s School of Law.
