Dr. Hoyle is an expert and educator in the fields of sustainability science and business management. With over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurial leadership, he holds a Bachelor of Science in occupational training and development, with a minor in Chinese studies. He also completed a Summa Cum Laude Executive Master of Business Administration in 2010, and a Doctor of Philosophy in strategic management in 2019. Currently, Dr. Hoyle is a degree candidate in the Graduate Sustainability Program at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education. In addition to his formal education, he holds various professional credentials and continuing education certificates, including a professional permaculture design certification and higher education teaching certificate.
Dr. Hoyle’s career began at the age of 19 when he founded a successful business. He later transitioned into higher education, where he served as a lead instructional designer and associate professor for a small university. During his time at the school, he rose to the position of full professor and served as interim dean of instruction from 2020 to 2022. Since 2022, he has been teaching at another university and also serves on the business program council to audit and update the Doctor of Business Administration program’s curriculum.

He is also currently the Vice President of the Harvard Extension School Management and Finance Club, showcasing his leadership abilities and unique voice in the industry.
