The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority has chosen the US ChuteLiner System for the modernization of the James Down Senior Housing Towers in Las Vegas. The project was part of a $42,000,000 initiative to acquire and rehabilitate the 200-unit senior affordable housing facility. The US ChuteLiner System, a patented, cured-in-place chute lining system, was selected as an alternative to the traditional mechanical replacement method for the restoration of the facility’s trash chutes.
The US ChuteLiner System is installed bottom-up, using the existing chute as a conduit. It is a one-piece, seamless system that forms a new chute within the existing chute. Unlike traditional replacement methods that can take weeks, the US ChuteLiner System can be installed within hours. It is a clean system with no entry or exit points for odors or bugs.
US ChuteLining, a division of US Pipelining, has worked with Fortune 500 clients such as Disney and MGM. The company developed the lining method after years of trial and design iterations. The US Chuteliner System was specifically designed for vertical installation, which was a challenge that took years to overcome.
US Pipelining, the parent company of US Chutelining, is a leading provider of pipelining services in the United States. They offer specialized rehabilitation solutions for various clients, including Fortune 500 companies, residential communities, heavy industry, the US Military, and government agencies.
The US ChuteLining System is a cured-in-place liner that creates a structurally new and seamless chute-within-a-chute when formed within an existing chute. It is a time-saving, non-intrusive, and cost-effective means of chute restoration.
Cured-In-Place Pipe technology (CIPP) is a non-invasive method used to repair and restore existing pipelines. It is a joint-less, seamless pipe-within-a-pipe that can structurally rehabilitate pipes of various diameters. CIPP has a design life of 50 years and is commonly used in water, sewer, gas, and chemical pipelines.
