After dedicating himself to the field of law for 30 years, Mr. Freidel retired from his work as an attorney at the Law Office of S. Robert Freidel. Over the years, he specialized in various areas of law, including employment discrimination law, matrimonial law, and workers’ compensation law. Before starting his legal career, Mr. Freidel worked as a regional trainer coordinator for CVS while studying for his JD.
In addition to his work, Mr. Freidel has made contributions to his community as the district governor of the New Jersey chapter of Lions Club International. He aims to help the organization reach 1.5 million members by July 2027 and is currently organizing a symposium on human trafficking. Mr. Freidel earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Rider University in 1976 and later graduated from Widener University’s School of Law with a JD.
Mr. Freidel has received three Presidential Medals from Lions Club International in 2016, 2017, and 2020, as well as two Governor’s Excellence Awards from the same organization. He has also been inducted into Who’s Who Among American High School Students. One of his career highlights is being a successful leader at Lions Club International and co-hosting the Lions Flight for Sight Hot Air Balloon Festival.
Mr. Freidel attributes his success to his self-motivation and love for challenges. Looking ahead, he aims to continue growing his career and become the global membership team leader for the New Jersey Lions Multiple District 16. He also plans to complete and publish a book about the history of the New Jersey chapter of Lions Club International.
