SureImpact has secured $2 million in seed financing, with support from Rev1 Ventures and Queen City Angels. The funds will be used to continue innovating the company’s groundbreaking solution that helps nonprofit organizations better understand, measure, and share their impact. SureImpact is the only software platform that is dedicated to all members of the social-good ecosystem.
“SureImpact is making it possible for nonprofits to analyze and benchmark their initiatives with an easy-to-understand impact management solution,” said Sheri Chaney Jones, founder and CEO of SureImpact. “With the support of our investors, SureImpact is enabling more social-good leaders to realize the full value of real-time insights that prove the effectiveness and impact of their work.”
Nowadays, there are nearly 1.8 million nonprofits in the U.S. With 37% of organizations reporting a decrease in donations in 2020, measuring the impact of community collaboratives and collective initiatives has never been more important. SureImpact’s platform leverages a collaborative data model specifically designed to provide the coordinated data collection and shared measurement infrastructure for social-good networks to evaluate the effectiveness and collective impact of their initiatives. SureImpact connects all members of the collaborative, whether they are direct service providers, funders, or other stakeholders. By tracking outcomes across organizations, leaders can more easily understand what is driving change across their network.
Jay Love, SureImpact board member and seasoned nonprofit tech entrepreneur, called SureImpact one of the most innovative nonprofit technology solutions on the market, adding that it will continue to transform how social-good organizations operate and address crucial community needs.
Furthermore, SureImpact also announced an initiative with the City of Columbus to track real-time measurable outcomes of 112 nonprofit organizations. The program, which is part of The City of Columbus’ Department of Development, connects 501(c)(3) nonprofit human service organizations with resources to strengthen their organizational capacity, stabilize their organizations and further their work. Columbus is the first city to use SureImpact to analyze the impact of nonprofit initiatives on the communities they serve to ensure organizations know where their dollars are best spent.
Kristy Campbell, COO at Rev1 Ventures, expressed excitement about supporting SureImpact in their next phase of growth, calling Sheri Chaney Jones and SureImpact changemakers. She also stated her belief that with an innovative product and a proven track record, the sky’s the limit for SureImpact.
SureImpact has experienced incredible adoption in the last three years, boasting nearly 2,000 users managing outcomes and impacts of more than 90,000 individuals enrolled across initiatives. The team has grown to keep up with demand, including the appointments of several notable nonprofit technology experts.
